Yes, the purple pieces are more powerful than the whites. If you'll notice (atleast, with the kappa) you have 4k HP and (I think) +5 energy.

I think the mini-games need some kind of credible reward. you would need to do 10 matches and win them for 100 points! And I lag so bad it takes 15 minutes to get from ending one match to loading map, run to guy, load arena map, start match.
even 25 asura points would be much more worth it.
I did the first 2 quests and gots me a kappa and fire imp (kappa took me so many tries to beat him). Nice and all but if this is what I have to look forward to then I dunno :\
If there is no replayability then its a waste after you done all the quests.
and where can I farm asura points? The amount they ask for armor vending is way too much! i'm not even at 1k!

You get 50 points when you beat Hoff[Polymock Master] in tournament mode. Checked if you get 50 a second time and you do. The team I use is Skale(white) Fire Elemental (purple), Mirage Iboga (my only gold piece)

50 for beating Hoff isn't that bad, but I'm pretty sure it's more ffective to go out killing stuff with the Asuran Bodyguard bounty.

^ fire ele is good, but doesn't the earth spike for more?
also anyone found where you can get other golds beside the iboga from the quest chain, it sort of is weak imo anyways.

I'm sorry but this is no where near Pokemon. The only thing coincidental to pokemon is a 3 monster selection and using their models instead of your own avatar.
Otherwise, this is just the Norn Arena with a gap in the ground.

Was going to say Mortal Combat with a .5-1 second delay with attacks and blocks.
Edit: Reaction games like this fail. Why? 500-600 average ping. Strategy should be involved, not having cat-like reflexes...

Is it only me thats completed all of them once and again in tourney mode and now looking for a challenge... beat hoff 3:0 with just my earth elemental. Im just hoping that they'll make it player vs player.. even a mini tourney system etc... oh and beating hoff in tourney mode gets you 100 asura faction... half worth it seeming it took 5 minutes or so.

I found it too easy and quite short, I think it would have been better if it was turn based and you couldn't see what they where going to cast, as in it's current state you know what they are going to cast and when from the start, once you work that out you can't lose.

I loved the implementation, but this is no pokemon. I found that the first couple of trainers were tough, as I was working out the best ways to play, but that once I got some steam going I was alright.
As in, I failed about 20 times against the first polymock dude, but flawlessed Hoff and the three master quests.
My money is on pvp polymock. Why else would they bother adding in a ton of gold polys that you can get from dungeon runs?

I hope they put in some kind of PvP for Polymock, or the gold pieces from dungeons will seem pretty useless indeed.
